Rail Congestion Critical at CN Rail Yard in Toronto

Due to persistent congestion, truckers moving containers to/from CN Railway’s rail yard in Toronto are experiencing abnormal waiting time (sometimes in excess of 6 hours) and challenges in obtaining CN’s highly limited appointment slots.

These hindrances to service can result in storage, detention and/or demurrage charges, which are the risk and responsibility of the cargo owner. When such charges are incurred, please note that neither EMO Trans nor its contracted carriers will accept responsibility. All reasonable efforts will be made to avoid or minimize these whenever possible.

Conditions are expected to improve at CN within two weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your EMO Trans representatives.
