Despite a cyber attack that crashed its global computer system, Maersk is moving forward. In a customer advisory, Maersk said that no data loss to third-parties was known to have yet occurred and that worried customers should know that the virus has not spread. The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has granted Maersk Line a 20-day exemption from service contract filings due to the compromised computer systems.
