Our network partners in Qatar have advised that the EID holidays will be observed August 9-14. Customers should keep this in mind when scheduling air and ocean shipments to arrive either at DOH Airport or HAMAD Port. If any shipments arrive at the airport or port and are not cleared during the holidays, they will incur demurrage.
Additionally, please also note that all government offices in Qatar (and across the Middle East) will remain closed for about 10 days (August 7-17). Customers are advised to not schedule any Special Approval Cargo during this period. Customs offices will be working, but with skeleton staff only. They will resume normal operations on August 18.
