Operations Resuming in Mumbai/Nhava Sheva Channel After Crane Collapse

Uniworld, our partner in India, has advised that rough weather conditions in Mumbai and Nhava Sheva caused several cranes at JNPCT terminal at Nhava Sheva to collapse into the sea on August 5.

After closing the channel for a time, Mumbai Vessel Traffic System has given a clearance for channel movements a short while ago.

Power has been restored at the port area and operations will resume soon at Nhava Sheva terminals (excluding JNPCT).

Vessel side operations have resumed, along with regular operation on rail side besides yard and gate.
