Korea’s Largest Ocean Carrier Launches Block Train Service to Europe

Hyundai Merchant Marine Company has announced that it will launch a block train service to Europe via the Trans China Railway (TCR) from South Korea. A block train service is a train where all the cars carry the same commodity and are shipped to a single destination from a single origin. The firm says that cargo collected at the ports of Busan, Incheon, and Pyeongtaek ports will be brought to Qingdao and Rizhao in China’s Shandong Province to be sent to Chengdu in the southwestern province of Sichuan.
