Chile Calls for Trade Summit on March 14

Chile has invited the 12 countries that signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) a year ago, as well as China and South Korea from Asia to attend a trade summit March 14-15. Colombia, which is a member of the Pacific Alliance, together with Chile, Mexico and Peru, has also been invited. Peru leadership says that it sees the meeting as an opportunity to talk about the new international context for trade relations. The summit will reportedly convene in Vina del Mar, Chile.
