EU Publishes Report Highlighting Benefits of Trade Agreements

The EU has published a report assessing the implementation of its existing trade agreements. It’s the first report of its kind to look at what happens after trade agreements have entered into force. One of the key findings was that the EU agricultural and motor vehicles‘ sectors have benefited greatly. For example, exports of cars to South Korea have increased by 244% since 2011. The agreements with Colombia and Peru have increased the exports of EU agricultural goods by 92% and 73% respectively.
